It was another exciting and adventurous day at Millbrook on Monday. To launch our new topic 'Down in the Garden', we spent the WHOLE day outside. There were lots of fun things to do: nature crowns, den building, cooking in the mud kitchen, imagination station with loose part play and so much more.
We were privileged enough to be joined by Caterpillars in the morning, who added to all of our outdoor adventures by helping us building dens, explore the wildlife, creature fabulous crowns of nature and get us active. There was so much to do that even the adults joined in. In the afternoon, we got to plant seeds into some of the flower beds dotted around school so that we can watch them grow. Look out for shoots and leaves over the next few weeks as the roots start to grow down and the shoots start to grow up. Maybe you could also, look through our amazing transparent flowerbeds to see the roots growing through the soil and turn into radishes.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we wanted to do it all again the next day. Unfortunately, we couldn't but what a fun and exciting adventure we have had. Take a scroll through the photos and see the fantastic adventures we encountered!
